TWF2024-25 Lost Orchards of Talgarth

£0.00
TWF Walks and Events will be on-sale in early 2025

A 2 Boot Walk.

This meandering walk visits former orchard sites around Talgarth via byways, bridges & green lanes. It provides plenty of opportunity for foraging & biodiversity discussion. Its furtherest point, a mile from the town centre, is the orchard of the former Mid Wales Mental Asylum. Survivors from these orchards are pointed out along the way and the walk ends at recently planted fruit trees back in Talgarth.

Sponsored by Talgarth Community Library

Maximum walking group size is 15 (+ leaders)
