TWF2026-343 Radnorshire Hills (4 Boot, Sunday)

£10.00

Grading: 4 Boot

Walk in a southerly direction along a track to ascend Twyn y Garth to the summit, visiting an iron age fort and WWI Howitzer gun, a memorial to the fallen.  On to Llandeilo Graban church for a coffee break (toilet facilities provided!), here is where the last dragon of Radnorshire was slain!

We will continue to walk up onto Llandeilo Hill through a venison farm, crossing the common to Prince Llewelyn’s cave, where he hid before his fateful death the following day in Cilmery.  We will then descend through Aberedw Rocks to return to the Craft Centre alongside the SSSI River Wye.

Sponsored by Erwood Station Craft Centre

Maximum walking group size is 16 (+ leaders)
