TWF2026-422 Hay Common & Rook Wood Circular (2 Boot, Monday)

£8.00
TWF Walks and Events will be on-sale SOON

Grading: 2 Boot

A great value for effort walk with spectacular scenery and views of Cusop Hill, Hay-on-Wye & the River Wye, Hay Bluff, Pen-y-Fan and the Radnor Hills.

The walk gently climbs out of Hay-on-Wye to Hay Common and then on to Penn Common. It then descends to Rook Wood and hopefully a stunning display of Blue Bells and the Spring Time chirping of Birds! Walking out of Rook Wood the walk returns to Hay Common and a descent adjacent to a running water stream to Hay Cemetery where there are War Graves of great interest.

The walk finishes at the main Car Park in Hay but there will first be an opportunity to enjoy a drink at the Blue Boar!

Maximum walking group size is 16 (+ leaders)
