TWF2026-443 Llanthony Circular (4 Boot, Monday)

£10.00

Grading: 4 Boot

Starting at Cwmyoy we make our way up onto open access land passing an impressive Iron Age Hill Fort. We soon pick up the Beacons Way and follow it up to Bal Bach and then onto Bal Mawr (Small Summit and Large Summit), our highest point of the day at 607m. We then descend down to Llanthony taking in fabulous views of the Priory, which dates back to 1118.

Leaving Llanthony behind the only way is a gentle climb onto Hatterall Ridge again following the Beacons Way. At the top of the ridge the Beacons Way and Offa Dyke paths come together, at this point your left side will be in England whilst your right is in Wales! We continue on to Hatterall Hill before heading back down to our car park.

Maximum walking group size is 16 (+ leaders)
